Today, we’re featuring a beautiful portrait series from German photographer Daniel Krueger. Using only a single film camera and black and white film, this series has such an effortless beauty and simplicity, bringing out the subject’s emotions in every image. Here are a few words from Daniel about his work:
My name is Daniel Krueger, and I’m an analogue photographer from Berlin, Germany. I nearly always use my old Rolleicord III medium format TLR camera to portray people. I would describe my photography as authentic, honest, timeless, emotional, and straight forward. The analog process of image creation plays a very important role for me and my photographic work. Most of my work is now produced exclusively on black and white film.
About the series: I met Antonia (@apunkthonig) in March at ISO Studios in Leipzig, Germany. Together we created this black and white series on three rolls of film with so many fantastic results. Thank you, Antonia, for your trust in my photography!
Analog cameras and films used: Rolleicord III (Find at KEH Camera or eBay) | Kodak Tri-X 400 (Find on Amazon) | Self developed and scanned
