Today, we’re featuring a beautiful studio portrait series from film photographer Gilbert Carosin. Here is more from Gilbert about shooting film in the studio…
Shooting film is a real liberation for me, no more endless computer manipulation or spending hours in front of the screen. I value my work a lot more now because, in the studio, you cannot review the lighting setup before shooting, so there is absolutely no margin for errors. The connection is also quite special because once you have set up everything you only focus on framing and posing the model.
Analog cameras and films used: Nikon F5 (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay) | Agfa APX 100 (Find on Amazon)
