Today, we’re featuring a wonderful travel story from Katherine Hardman of her road trip across West Texas. Here is more from Katherine about the beauty of the Texas desert…
West Texas is an underappreciated and often overlooked region. It’s a rugged landscape, but it’s also full of beautiful desert flora, quaint small towns, and art in unexpected places. The way the desert colors contrast with the piercing blue sky is one of my favorite things about it. I take any chance I can to make a road trip out that way.

Very nice. Puts me in mind of Kyle McDougall’s American Mile series.

Nice shots, Katherine. West Texas is a long way to travel for those of us in other states, so the lonely places should stay lonely.
