My fog series began unexpectedly. One day, while visiting my family home, I found myself at a small railway station near a stream, wrapped in dense, glowing fog. A red light pierced through the mist, and I happened to have my analog camera with me. I still remember the emotions vividly – awe, peace, and a deep sense of gratitude for this quiet gift from nature.
Since that day, I’ve returned to those surroundings many times, exploring new places and searching for stillness through the lens. Fog, to me, is not just an atmospheric phenomenon – it’s a space of slowness and presence. Shooting it on film allows me to honor that pace and intimacy.
