Our latest feature is a travel story from film photographer Ethan Ege. Here is more from Ethan about photographing Europe and Morocco with a disposable camera…
I traveled to Europe and Africa, including Spain, Portugal, England and Morocco, and, for this trip, I shot only on Kodak disposable cameras. I love how lightweight, simple, and easy these cameras are. They are perfect for capturing candid moments, beautiful scenery, and unique stories. The cameras are cheap and one-time use, so it takes out any stress of ruining them at the beach, in my luggage, or any other adventure.
The photos I took capture a blend of street and landscapes from around the areas I traveled. I always felt that daily life was best captured on film. I carried these cameras in my pockets as I went. I shot three disposable cameras over my month of travel, and have some great memories from them. I’ve been shooting film for around three years now, and I always love my travel photos best. I even have some of these photos for sale on my website so anyone who enjoys them can print them off easily. I will cherish this trip for years to come and look back at these photos with warmth in my heart

Amazing photos for such a modest camera! Goes to show that it is not the camera but rather the quality of the photographer that counts. Well done!
