These photos were taken in December in Nosara, Costa Rica and some surrounding beaches and areas. The trip was just for fun, adventure, and exploration of a new country. I have always felt very connected to nature and the ocean, and grew up going to the beach. I am often inspired by the ocean horizon, long walks on beaches, and long days in the sun.
My favorite part about taking these photos was that this was a whole new country, my first international trip. Being able to gain some new perspective on the world is always super valuable.
I started shooting film in late 2022, around Halloween, so these photos were about a full year after I picked up my first film camera. The Minolta was my Dad’s old camera, and it felt really special to be shooting with it.
