Today, we’re featuring work from film photographer Zerb Mellish. Zerb documented moments from the Black Lives Matter protest in Fort Worth, Texas. Here are a few words from Zerb about his experience and hope for change…
“Change the Rules” the reason Rosa sat on the bus: When I got to the protest, there were so many people of different ethnicity, religions, and beliefs. The crowd was huge, so much bigger than I could’ve imagined. Getting there, I immediately felt the energy of the crowd. People wanting and praying for change – praying that this is the last life taken.
