Today, we’re featuring a beautiful fashion editorial from film photographer Alessia Pozzi inspired by her grandmother’s clothing. Here is more from Alessia about From My Grandmother’s Closet…
I’m pleased to share with you my series called From My Grandmother’s Closet. As it can be guessed from the title, for this shoot, I decided to use my grandmother’s clothes and adapt them to nowadays trends. I want to express the idea that everything comes back from the past, especially in the fashion industry, trends always return. This is also a complaint against the fashion industry and especially regarding the quality of clothes nowadays that in order to sell more, they lower the price and the quality too, so you end up buying more clothes every year as they last less.
