This week, we’re featuring a series of travel images that will definitely help scratch the itch if you’re feeling a little tired of staying at home. Film photographer Boris Kirov is sharing images of Corfu, a beautiful island off the northwest coast of Greece. Here is more from Boris about his time in Corfu…
The world is so interesting. It is unbelievable how technology has brought us together, and, at the same time, separates us so much. These few shots are telling the story of friends who just want to spend their time together, at least spend the best time together.
After a couple of years of separation or passing by each other, we as a group of friends made the decision to go to the Greek island of Corfu for our summer vacation. We spent quite a few sunsets just at the airport enjoying the vibrancy and color mutations going on in the sky while the planes were passing by.
Between each sunset, every day required following a simple routine. First, we explore some beaches, after that, the goal was to find the best shrimp place in the area where we can do a proper lunch. The second half of the day required repetition, meaning another roam for nature’s best beaches and right before the sun sets a proper gyros tasting. This is how the days went.
