Today, we’re so thrilled to feature a Polaroid fine art series from film photographer Mila Maes. Using double exposures on Polaroid film, Mila created a series to represent her feelings during lockdown. Here is more from Mila about In Between…
This series of double exposures was taken on a Polaroid SX-70 camera and expired Impossible film last spring, during the lockdown. I was cut out from my family and people I love – I felt alone, scared and so vulnerable, and amidst all those feelings and restrictions this series was born. It’s about love, connection, the past, and the future.
Analog cameras and films used: Polaroid SX-70 (Find at KEH Camera with code SIWF21 for 5% off or on eBay) | Expired Impossible Project Film (Find on eBay)
