Today, we’re featuring a beautiful travel story from Rajasthan, India from film photographer Kiran Tak. Here are a few words from Kiran about her film photography process…
I am a film photographer with a focus on cities, architecture and nature. I am inspired by the sanskrit word ‘Kirana’, which means a thread of light. It is my artistic endeavor to capture this beam of light through photography with an emphasis on fleeting moments and the unexpected. I find film photography to be real, intriguing, and exciting from start to finish. My most recent images were taken on a trip to Rajasthan, India, specifically in Jaipur and Udaipur.
Analog cameras and films used: Olympus OM2 (Find at KEH Camera or eBay) | Kodak ColorPlus 200 (Find on Amazon)
