Today, we’re featuring a wonderful set of images from Giuseppe Mattaliano. Giuseppe traveled to southern Italy for Ferragosto, an Italian holiday, and captured the beautiful scenery on 35mm film. Here is more from Giuseppe about his time in Erice…
I am an economics student, and I live in Italy. We usually celebrate August 15th, known as “Ferragosto,” and this time I spent it in Erice, a small Sicilian town not too far from home. I decided to take my loved Nikon FM with me to try to capture some glimpses of the village, and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was extremely suggestive, and I saw breathtaking landscapes.
