Today, we’re featuring a Lisbon travel story from film photographer Reuben Saunders. Here is more from Reuben about capturing Portugal on film…
I’ve been shooting film for about half a decade now, and I visited Lisbon for the second time this February. Without the pressure to experience the city with an itinerary, the roll of film I ended up with (Mr Negative Same Same But Different shot on Olympus OM-10) was representative of a city full of vibrancy, life, color, and contrasts – on one side, the brilliant chaos of the Alameda carnival celebrations, and on the other, the peace and serenity of Cais do Sodre, and everything between.
