Today, we’re featuring a lovely photo series from film photographer Brittany Rolfs. Here is more from Brittany about the series Pleasure Centers…
Pleasure Centers is a collection of my memories captured on film.
Seemingly mundane splinters of time that tickled me in moments of grief, guilt, fear, and isolation.
These were taken during the days of social distancing. Being a recent transplant to a new town with few acquaintances, nature and the inanimate became the company I kept.
These images are my reminder that a moss covered cinder block, a blue beach bathroom, or another woman’s shelves full of high end perfumes are an ever-accessible antidepressant.
Analog cameras and films used: Canon A-1 (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay) | Kodak Portra 400 (Find on Amazon), Lomography Fantome Kino (Find on Amazon), Lomography LomoChrome Purple (Find on Amazon)
