Today, we’re taking a step into nature and featuring a beautiful set of images of the Restore Yoga Retreat from film photographer Annie Velenovsky. Here are a few words from Annie about her experience…

I can’t articulate how difficult it was to choose a set of photos to encapsulate everything that is Restore Retreat with Aubrey Renee Fingerson. To give a sense of place and show the souls of the amazing women that quickly became sisters.

There simply isn’t a way to articulate what it is to be given the space to be wild.

To become the wild. To hold love for women you just met. To learn to move your body in the way that it wants to. To breathe as if a moment is the only one that exists.

To feel embodied. To sing and dance. To bathe in a creek. To ground into the Earth and lose yourself in the stars and the depth of another’s eyes. Their story. Their fullness.

There are not enough words, but I can never be the same.
