Today, we’re featuring a wonderful travel story from film photographer Manon Assens. Here is more from Manon about traveling around the U.S. and visiting the Rocky Mountains…
I was born and raised in France, but I’ve been living in Canada (Montreal) since autumn 2019. I work in the film industry, but my life is dedicated to photography, especially analog. This summer, I went on a road trip with my boyfriend around the USA and Canada, and I would like to share the part in Colorado and the Rocky Mountains.
While dedicating to photography, I try my best to capture each day little details from gifted lights from the sunset to the sweet tones of the evening, creating memories to remember for a lifetime. My attempt at this creative process is motivated by softness, the will of escape, roads, and natural landscapes.
Analog cameras and films used: Nikon FM (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay) | Kodak Gold 200 (Find on Amazon)
