Savannah Travel Session by Jessica Love

Jessica Love is back on the site today sharing her gorgeous film images from a trip to Savannah, Georgia! Here are a few words from Jessica about her trip, and be sure to check out Jessica’s other article here on Shoot It With Film all about shooting Kodak Portra 800!

We decided about two weeks ahead of time, when Ohio’s winter seemed NEVER ENDING, to book this trip. We thought of doing a beach vacation we could drive to. Some of the pictures are taken in Asheville, NC, where we made an overnight stop. I am absolutely in love with Savannah! The spanish moss and the greens, it’s unlike anywhere else I’ve been. The thing I knew I’d love about my film images is the way the colors are captured. It’s so hard to replicate a good green on digital, and with film, I just don’t even have to worry about it.
