The series Stay and Feel is a meditative exploration of mental wellness, centered on the simple yet profound act of being present. Through thirteen images, I incorporate the symbolism of the Bird of Paradise flower—a representation of freedom and perspective—into a visual narrative about embracing life as it unfolds. Using film photography and unembellished settings, the work reflects a philosophy of mindfulness: life is already as good as it is meant to be. Sometimes, all we need is to stay, feel, and appreciate the beauty of the moment.
