This week, we’re featuring the creative work of Nick Prideaux. Nick is an Australian film photographer based in Paris, France, and his art beautifully translates the feelings and moments of life into images. Here is more from Nick about his work…
I capture scenes from my life in a diaristic manner. My approach is guided by my intuition, rather than preconception, and the camera gives me a way of looking at the every day in a more conscious light and a way of surfacing thoughts and feelings that are otherwise difficult to access and express. My photographs center on the intimate and personal, a way to observe and bring out the beauty in the simplest and most unanticipated moments in life.
Analog cameras and films used: Contax T2 (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay), Konica Hexar (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay), Konica Big Mini (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay) | Kodak Portra 400 (Find on Amazon)
