Today, we’re featuring a wonderful photo series from film photographer Jeremy Mosher. Here is more from Jeremy about photographing an abandoned drive-in…
I had the opportunity to photograph an abandoned drive-in movie theater a couple months before it was to be torn down and developed into housing. I spent a late winter afternoon and a chilly morning wandering around the property shooting whatever caught my eye. I brought along a few different cameras and a few different film stocks, as well as digital, to shoot with because I wanted to really document this wonderful place.
Analog cameras and films used: Nikon F801S (Find on eBay) | Ilford HP5 (Find on Amazon)

I’m old enough to remember the height of drive-in theaters. It is with sadness that I look at these images. Sad to see the end of the simpler times of those days. Your images are very nice and illustrate the inevitable process of decline and decay that characterizes most everything. Thanks for posting this look back at a happy time in my life.
