This week, we’re featuring a beautiful portrait series from UK based photographer Marcin Wolinski. With 35mm film, Marcin captured writer and model Elise Wauters on the beaches of Camber Sands, UK. Here is more from Marcin about his work…
My name is Marcin Wolinski, and I am a photographer and retoucher based in Milton Keynes, UK. My work is completely not related to photography, and, throughout the years, I have discovered that it actually works best for me. I don’t like associating photography with money. It gives me much more freedom in creating what I really love. I’m not sure when it all started. There was a time in my life when I used to work supporting movies post production, and, although I wasn’t a big fan, I’ve turned out to be pretty good at. This definitely got me into the world of editing videos and then pictures.
I started photographing women in 2008. Starting from friends and inexperienced models, and I’ve slowly discovered what I really like- capturing beautiful women in a natural light wearing nothing except pure delicacy. In 2014, I got my first analogue camera, because there was always something magic about film, and I just wanted to give it a go. Loved it ever since.
