Today, we’re featuring a stunning fine art series from film photographer Bertie Taylor. Here is more from Bertie about shooting film and using expired film to capture his images…
I shoot on digital and film and shoot all styles, from fashion to documentary. I generally prefer shooting on film when I can. I’ve always been a bit anti-tech, so film photography suits me well, and I do not edit my images. Instead, I prefer to play with light, shadows, and expired film to create what I want in the photo. I use a Mamiya RZ67, and I also use an Olympus OM1. Many of the images in the series I’ve share with you were shot on expired film stock that my father gave to me, all sorts of film from the 1970’s to the present day. I especially like to use expired Portra 400.
Analog cameras and films used: Mamiya RZ67 (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay), Olympus OM1 (Find at KEH Camera or on eBay) | Various Film Stocks

Love these images, especially the bottom five color images which have great mood. Such creative compositions in all of them. Top notch work!
