Today, we’re featuring a beautiful Iceland travel story from film photographer Inês Valente. Here is more from Inês about visiting the Westfjords and Flatey island…

These images are from a trip I made last year to Icelandic Westfjords. It was my second time in Iceland. The first time, I did the all circle road trip, and this time I just went to the Westfjords and Flatey island. I loved it. It is a much more raw landscape and also less touristic as well. Almost all images are from Flatey, a little island that only receives tourists three months a year. I hope you can feel the minimalistic atmosphere that makes me love that country.

Love these! I’m feeling nostalgia for a place I’ve never been.
