
Today, we’re featuring a wonderful travel series from film photographer Tanya Sukkari. Here is more from Tanya about her time in Lebanon…
The last time I visited was in 2017, before the COVID-19 pandemic, before the Beirut Port Explosion, before the financial collapse. I returned to Beirut in June 2022. The trip was complex, generally home bound, and too short, as always. It felt important to take photos that captured the good feelings of being there, the sea, the city, the sunsets.
