Today, we’re featuring a very cool double exposure series from Jean-Christophe Villefranche. Here is more from Jean-Christophe about using multiple exposures to capture the energy of New York City…
I stayed in New York City for five days, and on the last day, I had to take a bus at midnight at Port Authority to go to Montréal. I left at 6pm from my room in Brooklyn and decided to go to the Top of the Rock and Time Square while waiting for my bus. I had a roll of CineStill 800T left, and it was my first time shooting this film. Quickly, I decided to only take doubles exposure with my Nikon FM. I tried to feel the energy of the place with all those lights, colors, and noise.
