This week, we’re sharing a beautiful Portugal travel series from Michiel van de Velde sure to get you excited for some warm summer weather. Here is more from Michiel about his trip to Portugal…
Last autumn, we managed a to go away for a week’s holiday to the Algarve in southern Portugal. This was the first time that I exclusively used film on a trip, and, I must say, it did not disappoint. I had a digital camera in my bag, but it never came out. The recently gifted Leica was all I needed this week. My film of choice was Kodak Ultramax 400, as I can be quite trigger happy with my camera, I tend to opt for the consumer grade film. I like to shoot Fuji Superia as well, but I took Ultramax on this trip to enhance the warmer tones of this beautiful region.
