Happy New Year! This week, we’re featuring a beautiful set of images from Spain from film photographer Isa Ebens. Isa captured the stunning landscapes and plant life at a botanical gardens in Blanes, Spain. Here is more from Isa about how she found a new way to travel while staying close to home…
With the current situation we are all living in and my lack of work at the time, I didn’t really consider the option of travelling somewhere for the holidays. But I decided I would, in exchange, go on a couple of excursions “near-by” and use it as an opportunity to explore my region, Catalonia.
I think we often have this idea that in order to go somewhere special or new, go on an exciting adventure, we have to go very far, but the truth is that sometimes there are hidden gems a lot closer to us than we think. This is exactly what happened when I went to Blanes, a botanical garden that transported you to so many different places with it’s different plants, trees, and flowers from all over the world, just one hour away.
