Today, we’re featuring a beautiful Switzerland travel story from film photographer Sydney LeGrande. Here is more from Sydney about shooting film…
I strive to be offline, and I enjoy shooting film to make my own personal memories for my physical photo albums. I enjoy the waiting game, development process, and end result. I recently came across this website, and l loved being able to take in such beautiful film from all over the world. I wanted to share some of my own film pictures incase anyone else might enjoy them as much as I do.
The photos below are from my solo wild-hammock backpacking trip in Switzerland. I normally like taking landscape nature shots, but I decided this roll would be exclusively portrait as it would help me better capture the metal pegs that were bolted 2000 feet above the Mürren valley floor.
Analog cameras and films used: Canon Sure Shot Prima Twin (Find on eBay) | Kodak Gold 200 (Find on Amazon)
