Today, we’re featuring a beautiful fashion series from photographer Elizabeth Noriega. Elizabeth’s ULTRA series explores fashion that embraces individuality without labels. Here is more from Elizabeth about the vision behind this collection…
ULTRA is a three-part series representing individuality without a label, a vision of fashion without a category, and a normalized statement without stereotypes. ULTRA is for those who desire to view fashion as a spectacle and those willing to hold space for an unconventional lifestyle and normalize it through acceptance.
I had the privilege of working on this photo project with my collaborator and dear friend Gray Gall. This three-part shoot was special because not only did we travel to different locations for various backgrounds, but we also had the opportunity to play with different looks, feelings, and themes with the help of our small but talented team of women. Though the following photos are all shot on film, we wanted to incorporate a hybrid of both film and digital media which can all be found on my website.
Part 1: Pink Pleasure
Part 2: The Perfect Canary
Part 3: Sunken Shadows
