Today, we’re featuring such a lovely series from film photographer Marta Karcz. Marta captured the quiet moments at home through her camera lens, filling each photograph with a sense of calm and beauty. Here is more from Marta about this collection…
I like capturing those moments at home when I’m alone. The most mundane things. Sometimes they seem meaningless, but in reality, we’re the truest selves when we’re alone. There’s no one around to judge us if we waste our minutes staring aimlessly through the window because we need to focus on something other than our racing thoughts or when we linger too long over breakfast because we feel uninspired about the rest of the day. I also think that through portraying these private habits of life I want to communicate that I cherish them and encourage other people to try and do the same.
