Today, we’re featuring a travel story from film photographer Jacqueline Franquez. Here is more from Jacqueline about photographing London and Paris…
Shooting film in London and Paris in December feels like stepping into a cinematic dream. With Cinestill 800, the cities’ glowing streetlights, rain-washed sidewalks, and early nightfall take on a moody, luminous character—perfect for capturing the quiet magic of winter evenings. Kodak Gold, on the other hand, brings warmth to the colder days, softening the gray skies and giving everyday moments a nostalgic glow. Together, the two stocks create a rich balance: one capturing the romance of low-light wanderings, the other preserving the charm of daylight details in two of the world’s most iconic cities.
