We are so thrilled to feature a beautiful Paris travel story from film photographer Marissa Wu. Marissa captured Paris on 35mm film as it transitioned through the seasons from summer to fall. Here is more from Marissa about her time in this stunning city…
Through the handful of pictures, I wanted to remember Paris in the last dregs of summer as we segue into fall. Last year, we had record-breaking heat, with blistering afternoons and the warm summer nights that saw us spilling onto every available green space to picnic, which is a very Parisian pastime.
As fall rolled around, the days started to grow shorter as everyone trickled back into the city from the August holiday. It’s a different sort of lively as Paris re-awakens. Some of these photos are meant to remind me of the quiet, when it seemed, on certain Sunday August mornings, that the city was for me alone.
