Today, we’re featuring a beautiful Scotland travel series from film photographer Cara Davidson. Here is more Cara about her love of film and time in Scotland…
My fascination with film photography started during the first lockdown. We all suddenly had so much more time on our hands and were forced to slow down, and I loved that film photography reflected this as it also made me slow down and appreciate the small moments in life I may have previously overlooked.
Fast forward to May this year where I had the opportunity to join other film photographers on a trip up at the very top of Scotland for three days. The group of women were not only incredibly talented but also so supportive and encouraging, and it was great to spend time with others who love film photography just as much as me!
The trip gave me some time out of the busyness of life again and to stop and notice the little details and moments that make a place, and this is what I have tried to capture throughout this photographic journal.
