Our latest feature is a beautiful travel series by Courtney Cardini of Rome photographed on Psychedelic Blues experimental film stock. Here is more from Courtney about her time in Rome and why she is drawn to film photography…
Having lived in Rome while I was attending graduate school, I make it a point to return at least once a year until I can move back full-time. During one of my daily strolls around Rome, I decided to try out an experimental film. I enjoy taking photos with film because of the focus and patience it takes to make sure you are marking the moment as envisioned. Also, being behind a camera gives me the advantage in crowded areas because it is a free pass to stand still while others aren’t even looking around.
Analog cameras and films used: Canon Rebel 2000 EOS (Find on eBay) | Psychedelic Blues #6 (Find at B&H Photo)
