This year I went on a five week solo trip around Europe. It was a bucket list trip, and I wanted to capture it on film. I was very fortunate to have met so many like minded individuals and have had the unforgettable rich experiences that I did. However, I was beginning to crave solitude and escape the chaos of big cities.
My days in Cinque Terre consisted of slow mornings, long days at the beach, fresh seafood, and watching memorizing sunsets. Particularly at golden hour, Cinque Terre felt euphoric. It was so aesthetically pleasing to look at and capturing photos was effortless.
I do remember meeting this retired couple and the wife’s sister when I was sitting on a balcony alone watching the sunset. They were so open and welcoming. We exchanged travel stories, recommendations, and outlooks on life. Our interaction was so positive that, without hesitation, we exchanged numbers if we were ever to cross paths again. They were really sweet.
Now, I’m back at home and looking at my developed films. It really does make me happy. I couldn’t help but share it.
